Operations & Service Coordinator (part-time)

WHO WE ARE

ARTA is a rapidly growing family run and operated business providing pressure vessel inspections and safety relief valve certifications, compressed air pipework installations across Queensland, Northern NSW and Victoria (pipework only).

We work with manufacturers, schools, hospitals, councils, mining operations, food manufacturers and industrial businesses to ensure their pressure equipment remains safe and compliant with Australian Standards and WorkSafe legislation.

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Operations & Service Coordinator to become the operational backbone of our team.

This isn't a standard administration role.

You'll be coordinating technicians, managing compliance schedules, solving daily operational challenges and helping ensure our customers receive exceptional service.

ABOUT THE ROLE - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting directly to the Director and Project Manager, you'll coordinate multiple areas of our service operations including:

- Scheduling pressure vessel inspections across Queensland, Northern NSW
- Coordinating Safety Relief Valve testing and certification across Australia
- Scheduling compressed air pipework installation projects across Queensland, Northern NSW & Victoria
- Managing recurring compliance inspections through our maintenance planning software
- Coordinating technician daily schedules and daily workloads
- Planning regional service trips and travel efficiencies
- Coordinating customer shutdown periods and site access requirements
- Liaising with direct customers, service providers and multi-site organisations




- Monitoring inspection due dates and maintaining customer compliance schedules
- Managing changing priorities and responding to urgent operational requirements
- Working closely with technicians to ensure jobs run smoothly from booking through to completion
- Assisting with operational improvements and process development as the business continues to scale

ABOUT YOU

You'll likely have experience in a service coordination, operations coordination or scheduling role within a trade, industrial, facilities management or service-based business.

You'll ideally have:

- Previous experience coordinating field technicians or service schedules
- Experience working within a service-based or trade industry
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills with customers, technicians and suppliers
- Confidence making decisions and solving day-to-day operational issues
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly
- High attention to detail

HIGHLY ADVANTAGEOUS

- Maintenance Planner experience
- Knowledge of asset maintenance scheduling




- Understanding of preventative maintenance programs
- Experience within pressure vessel and compressed air industry
- Knowledge of pressure vessel inspections or WorkSafe compliance requirements (training provided)

ESSENTIAL

- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Willingness to travel locally for occasional customer visits, technician support and office attendance
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Full Australian working rights
