La Buvette, a new French wine bar by The Goodies, is coming to Potts Point — looking for passionate, wine-loving floor staff to be part of something special from day one.

The Venue

La Buvette is a neighbourhood French wine bar opening in Potts Point in August 2026. Inspired by the intimate, lived-in bars of Paris — the kind of place where the wine list has genuine conviction and the hospitality feels effortless — we're building something rooted in joie de vivre and community connection.

Classic bistro dishes, an exceptional French-led wine programme, and a place that feels like it belongs to the neighbourhood.

The Group

La Buvette is the newest venue from The Goodies — a Sydney hospitality group founded by Nathan & Sali Sasi and Morgan McGlone, built around thoughtful food, genuine warmth, and neighbourhood-driven hospitality. The group currently includes:

- Bar Copains (Surry Hills) — one-hatted neighbourhood wine bar
- Bessies (Surry Hills) — one-hatted Mediterranean wood fire restaurant
- Alma's (Surry Hills) — cocktail bar focused on the classics
- Vin-Cenzo's (Darlinghurst) — two-hatted Italian restaurant

La Buvette represents a new chapter — and a genuine opportunity to join a group that invests in its people and loves to see them grow.

The Role

As part of our floor team, you'll be one of the faces of La Buvette — welcoming guests, looking after the floor, and helping build the kind of warm, wine-forward experience that keeps people coming back.





Key responsibilities

- Delivering warm, genuine, effortless hospitality across every service
- Building real connections with guests and making them feel the place is theirs
- Confidently speaking to the wine list and helping guests find something they'll love
- Supporting the management team with floor flow, table setup and service pace
- Maintaining the standards and atmosphere that make La Buvette special

Who We're Looking For

You are personality-forward and genuinely passionate about wine. You love talking about what's in the glass, you make people feel welcome without even trying, and you want to be part of a team that takes the list seriously and has fun with it.

You’ll bring

- A genuine love of wine — WSET Level 2 or above preferred, or equivalent experience and curiosity
- Warm, engaging hospitality with a natural ability to connect with guests
- Experience in a wine bar, restaurant or similar hospitality environment
- A team-first attitude and the energy to match a busy floor
