Key Responsibilities within the Role
In this focused, short-term position, you will utilise your specialised payroll knowledge to assist the finance team with a critical project. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough reconciliations for the Defined Benefits Scheme.
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies in payroll data with high attention to detail.
- Utilising advanced Excel functions to manipulate, analyse, and report on financial data.
- Assisting the broader team with ad hoc payroll and administrative tasks as required.
What You Will Need to Succeed
To be successful in this quick-paced contract, you will bring a proven track record in payroll processing alongside strong analytical capabilities.
Key Skills Required:
- Direct experience working with superannuation, specifically complex Defined Benefits Scheme reconciliations.
- Advanced MS Excel Skills
- Prior experience navigating public sector payroll frameworks, compliance standards, and enterprise agreements (highly regarded but not essential).
