Flexible full-time or part-time
Roles & Goals Therapy Services is a small, growing paediatric therapy practice based in Adelaide’s northern suburbs. We provide occupational therapy and clinical counselling to children, young people and families across clinic, school, home and community settings.
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our team in a flexible hybrid clinic and community role.
Imagine starting your morning with a coffee and a chat with the team before heading out to see a couple of clients at school or in the community. Rather than spending the rest of the day working from your car, you can return to our brand-new Salisbury clinic to run an afternoon session, complete your notes in a dedicated workspace, bounce ideas around with colleagues or simply eat lunch while it is still warm.
This role would suit an OT who enjoys variety, values relationship-based and practical therapy, and wants to feel genuinely connected to their team.
About the role
- You will provide occupational therapy to children and young people across a mix of clinic, school, home and community settings.
- Your caseload may include children with needs relating to sensory processing and regulation, emotional regulation and co-regulation, fine and gross motor development, self-care and daily living skills, play, social participation and engagement, executive functioning and independence
- We recognise that every clinician brings different strengths. Your caseload can be shaped around your experience, clinical interests, confidence and support needs.
- Previous paediatric, disability or community experience would be highly regarded, but the right values, attitude and willingness to learn are equally important to us.
About you You may be a good fit for our team if you are:
- Warm, playful and family-centred
- Comfortable building meaningful relationships with children and families
- Confident working independently while also valuing team support
- Willing to work across clinic and community settings
- Collaborative in your work with families, schools and other professionals
- Organised with documentation, communication and time management
- Ppen to sharing ideas and contributing to team initiatives
Newer clinicians who are keen to build their paediatric skills are welcome to apply, provided they hold current AHPRA registration. Why join Roles & Goals?
At Roles & Goals, we care about therapy that is practical, meaningful and connected to a child’s everyday life. We are a small team, so you will not feel like just another clinician on a large caseload. You will have opportunities to contribute ideas, develop resources, shape services and be part of where the practice is heading.
We offer
- A brand-new Salisbury clinic
- Flexible full-time or part time hours
- A balanced clinic and community caseload
- Regular quality supervision from people who are genuinely invested in your development (no, seriously)
- Administration support
- Shared therapy resources and equipment
- Professional development support
- Travel reimbursement
- Opportunities to contribute to therapy groups, resources and external presentations or projects
- A fun, supportive, collaborative and down-to-earth team culture
Essential requirements
- Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one
- Current driver’s licence
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desirable, but not essential
- Experience working with children or young people
- Experience working within the NDIS
- Experience in school, home or community settings
- Experience completing functional capacity assessments
- An interest in sensory processing, emotional regulation, self-care, motor development or participation-based therapy
- An interest in neurodiversity-affirming practice, developmental trauma, DIR/Floortime, interoception or play-based approaches
Employment details
- This position is available on a full-time or part-time basis.
