Are you experienced in power generation and ready to make a real impact? Join Origin’s Shoalhaven team as a Plant Technician (Mechanical or Electrical) and help keep our renewable energy assets running at peak performance. You’ll be part of a skilled, supportive crew maintaining one of Australia’s key hydro facilities — where safety, reliability, and innovation come first.

Key Responsibilities Perform inspections, maintenance, and fault-finding on hydro generation equipment

Operate and maintain plant systems safely and efficiently

Support and lead outages, overhauls, and commissioning activities

Coordinate with contractors and contribute to project delivery

Drive continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

Isolations and safe access to plant responsibilities. What will you bring?

Advanced

Trade qualifications in mechanical or electrical disciplines

Experience in power generation or heavy industry operations and maintenance

Robust problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team
