Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) is seeking an experienced Principal Consultant Human Resources Business Partner to join our People Capability Command. This is a temporary vacancy until 31 December 2026 with possibility for extension and to create a talent pool for future opportunities that may arise. As a trusted Principal Consultant HR Business Partner you will provide expert, evidence-based HR advice and trusted business partnering to senior leaders.

The role will suit you if you have a client-centric consultancy approach, can build relationships with senior leaders to improve workforce capability, and provide practical advice aligned to organisational priorities in a complex organisation.

You bring: Strong experience in HR business partnering and consultancy within complex organisations

Demonstrated ability to influence and build relationships with senior stakeholders

Deep understanding of industrial frameworks, legislation, and contemporary HR practices
