DCT Parts and Service is seeking a Spare Parts Sales Person to join our team in Orange, NSW. This is a full-time position offering an exciting prospect to develop your career in the earthmoving and mining industry. You will be the key point of contact for customers seeking spare parts and machine components, providing expert advice and outstanding service to drive customer satisfaction and business growth. This role is based on-site at our Orange location.

What you'll be doing

Managing customer inquiries and providing expert advice on spare parts and earthmoving components to ensure customers receive the right products for their needs

Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising our inventory management systems to identify part availability and pricing

Maintaining detailed knowledge of our product catalogue, including specifications, compatibility and applications across various machine models

Managing stock levels, conducting regular inventory checks and identifying opportunities to reorder parts to meet customer demand

Building strong customer relationships through professional communication and follow-up services to encourage repeat business

Collaborating with workshop and technical staff to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate parts solutions

Contributing to a safe, organised and professional retail environment that reflects DCT Parts and Service values

What we're looking for

Proven experience in spare parts sales, automotive retail or a related customer-facing sales role within the automotive and earthmoving industry





Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers

Proficiency with inventory management systems and point-of-sale software, or a willingness to quickly learn our systems

Ability to manage multiple customer inquiries efficiently whilst maintaining accuracy in transactions and records

A customer-focused mindset with a genuine interest in earthmoving products and building long-term customer relationships

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in order processing and stock management

Flexibility and reliability in meeting business demands and supporting the team as required

Preferred: Previous experience working in an automotive parts department or workshop environment
