The Opportunity

A rare and high-impact opportunity for a Clinical Director of Orthopaedic Surgery to lead and shape a high-performing service within the Wide Bay.

This is a senior leadership role combining clinical excellence, strategic influence, and service development, ideal for an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon seeking to step into (or further develop) an executive‑level position.

You will provide expert clinical and strategic leadership, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality orthopaedic and trauma services while driving innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee Orthopaedic Surgery and Trauma Services across the region
- Provide strategic direction in collaboration with executive leadership
- Deliver high-quality clinical care aligned with best practice standards
- Drive service development, innovation, and performance improvement
- Support and mentor medical staff, trainees, and multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute to teaching, training, and research activities (aligned with CanMEDS framework)

Remuneration & Benefits

- Total package up to $574,115 p.a.
- Base salary: $216,643 – $274,678 + allowances
- Generous superannuation (up to 12.75%)
