About the Role

Our brand-new state-of-the-art distribution facility is equipped with materials handling equipment (MHE), allowing automated loading and picking to take place more efficiently and effectively. The new facility embodies the future of logistics with its epic size and design. As our organisation continues to grow, we are actively seeking an experienced Storeperson with forklift experience to join our Chevallum, Sunshine Coast team.

Overview

Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, this is a full-time position that involves picking & packing customer orders on day to day basis. If you have worked in a food industry/warehouse before, consider yourself physically fit, and have worked in a chiller/freezer environment before, this position could be for you.

Your day-to-day routine will look something like this:

- Accurately pick and pack customer orders in the dry/chiller/freezer




- Assemble customers' orders and stack pallets correctly.
- Replenishing stock
- Checking orders and raising discrepancies.
- Load/unload vehicles with a forklift and zippy units.
- General cleaning & housekeeping duties as required.
- Other warehouse duties as assigned by the manager.

All about you

- Forklift license is desirable
- Previous forklift experience preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience working in FMCG/food service environment preferred but not essential.
- Have prior experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment (advantageous).
- A good understanding of HACCP requirements will be beneficial.
- Understand all aspects of OH&S; compliance.
- Practice safe and correct manual handling at all times.
