We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our Wheel&Barrow; Homewares store in Doncaster, VIC 3108. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to drive store performance, lead a dedicated team, and create an exceptional customer experience in the competitive homewares retail sector. As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the store, managing day-to-day operations whilst maintaining our brand standards and delivering strong commercial results. This role is crucial to our business strategy and offers the chance to make a tangible impact on store profitability and customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

- Managing all aspects of store operations, including staffing, stock management, visual merchandising and customer service standards
- Leading, motivating and developing your team to achieve sales targets and maintain high performance standards
- Implementing company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and brand guidelines
- Analysing sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improve store profitability
- Creating engaging visual displays and promotional campaigns that attract customers and drive sales of our homewares products
- Managing inventory levels, stock rotation and ordering to minimise waste and maximise product availability
- Delivering exceptional customer service and resolving customer concerns promptly and professionally
- Recruiting, training and coaching team members to build a high-performing and engaged workforce
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, head office and local community
- Monitoring and controlling costs, managing budgets and contributing to the overall financial performance of the store

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Store Manager or similar leadership role within the retail sector, ideally in homewares or consumer goods




- Robust commercial acumen with the ability to analyse sales performance, manage budgets and drive profitability
- Excellent people management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Demonstrated expertise in visual merchandising and creating compelling in-store displays
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Customer service excellence and a passion for delivering outstanding retail experiences
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and retail point-of-sale technology
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required by the retail environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Qualification in retail management or equivalent professional experience is highly desirable
