About the role:
Reporting to the Senior WHS Advisor, you’ll play a pivotal rolein advancing safety and wellbeing across our organisation. Fromdeveloping and embedding WHS systems, to engaging with teams andpromoting safety best practices, you’ll be a key team member in ourjourney towards excellence in workplace health and safety.
The ideal candidate will be a passionate and pragmatic WorkHealth and Safety Advisor who believes that creating a safeworkplace starts with people. You'll inspire a positive safetyculture by building trusted relationships,
leading with empathy,and empowering others to take ownership of health and safety -bringing people on the journey and helping them understand the'why' behind what we do.
What you’ll bring to the role:
You will align with our values and ideally have the followingcompetencies:
- A relevant qualification in Work Health and Safety or arelated discipline.
- Experience implementing WHS systems in a practical,team-based workplace.
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation, codes of practice,and injury management processes.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skillsacross all levels of an organisation.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to influence culturalchange and drive safety performance.
- Investigative, problem-solving and analytical skills.
Pre-employment Requirements:
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence
- Construction Awareness White Card
- National Police Clearance
- Right to work in Australia
