About the Role

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the day to day operations of the production team while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading a team of 3-6 production operators
- Driving a strong safety first culture across the site
- Managing daily production to meet schedules and targets
- Coordinating labour and production resources




- Ensuring quality standards and QA procedures are followed
- Conducting toolbox talks and daily team briefings
- Coaching and developing production staff
- Managing attendance and shift rosters
- Completing operational quality inspections
- Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions
- Coordinating maintenance activities and subcontractors
- Inspecting products prior to dispatch
- Working closely with Operations, QA and Maintenance teams

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys leading from the front and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.

You’ll ideally have:

- Previous experience supervising within a manufacturing environment
- Precast concrete experience highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of workplace safety and quality systems
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Ability to motivate teams and improve production performance
- Experience with production planning and scheduling
- Trade qualification preferred
- Engineering background highly regarded
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook & Word)
