An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced HR Systems Lead to join a growing, multi-site organisation and take ownership of its people systems landscape.
This is a diverse and highly visible role that sits at the intersection of HR systems, workforce management, payroll support, process improvement and employee lifecycle management. You'll play a key role in ensuring systems are operating effectively while driving enhancements, integrations and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
Reporting to the HR Manager and managing one direct report, you will work closely with stakeholders across HR, Payroll, Operations and Finance to optimise processes and support a complex workforce environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the administration, maintenance and optimisation of the HRIS and workforce management platforms
- Manage system configurations, upgrades, enhancements and vendor relationships
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across HR processes and workflows
- Ensure data integrity through regular audits and reporting
- Support onboarding, offboarding and employee lifecycle processes
- Act as the escalation point for complex systems and workforce management queries
- Partner with payroll to ensure employee data and system configuration supports accurate pay outcomes
- Develop and maintain HR reporting, dashboards and analytics
- Deliver training and support to managers and end users
- Support strategic projects including acquisitions, business integration activities and new site implementations
About You
To be successful in this position,
you will bring strong HR systems experience combined with a practical understanding of workforce management and payroll processes.
You will ideally possess
- Proven experience managing HRIS and workforce management systems
- Experience with platforms such as Humanforce, Dayforce, UKG, Kronos, Employment Hero, Workday, SuccessFactors, ADP or similar
- Strong understanding of HR operations and employee lifecycle processes
- Experience managing system integrations and process automation
- Exposure to workforce management, rostering and payroll processes
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- The ability to influence and build relationships across multiple stakeholder groups
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Highly Regarded
- Experience within healthcare, aged care, disability, community services or other workforce-intensive industries
- Award interpretation knowledge
- Exposure to payroll compliance and workforce management environments
- Mergers and acquisitions or business integration experience
- Multi-site operational experience
