As part of the global Baltimore Aircoil Company (BAC), we design and manufacture innovative cooling solutions that help customers conserve resources, improve efficiency and operate more sustainably. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Senior Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing operations and help drive the next phase of our success.

About the Role

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will lead production operations across our Somersby manufacturing facility, ensuring products are delivered safely, on time, to quality standards and within operational targets.

You will be a visible leader on the shop floor, engaging the team, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on leadership to drive results through people.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, coach and develop Supervisors, Leading Hands and production employees
- Foster a strong safety culture and ensure safe systems of work are embedded across all operations
- Deliver production plans, customer commitments and operational objectives
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing and problem-solving methodologies
- Improve productivity, quality, efficiency and cost performance
- Lead workforce planning, recruitment, training and employee development activities
- Partner with Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain and Planning teams to optimise business performance
- Monitor and communicate key operational KPIs and improvement opportunities





About You You are an experienced manufacturing leader with a proven track record of building high-performing teams and delivering operational excellence.

You'll bring:

- Experience in a production leadership role within manufacturing
- Solid people leadership, coaching and mentoring capability
- Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience
- Demonstrated success leading change and driving sustainable improvements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Production planning and operational management experience
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and employee wellbeing

Highly Regarded

- Trade qualification
- Leadership or supervisory qualification
- Experience with ISO quality systems
- Behaviour-based safety systems experience
- Forklift, Dogman or Working at Heights licences
