- Provide exceptional patient care in the Surgical Ward, assessing and responding to clinical nursing issues.
- Supervise and guide a multidisciplinary team, making effective decisions and offering support.
- Lead by example through transparent communication, excellent customer service and patient advocacy.
- Serve as Clinical Nurse in charge after hours and on weekends when rostered.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent and AHPRA registration.
- Demonstrated leadership, support and mentorship abilities.
- Ability to coordinate and prioritise the ward’s clinical load.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvement.
- Willingness to obtain required vaccinations,
undergo a national criminal history check and complete a functional assessment.
