Salary: $170,000 – $200,000 per year plus Superannuation

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute General Manager – People & Culture to join our Executive Leadership Team. The role is based at our Head Office in Cannon Hill, QLD.

This executive role shapes and delivers the People & Culture strategy to support business growth, workforce capability and operational excellence across a geographically dispersed workforce. You will partner with the Executive General Manager - Operations, executive leaders and operational managers to provide strategic leadership across workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee and industrial relations, organisational development, leadership capability and workplace culture. This is an prospect for a senior HR executive who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment and drives business outcomes through people.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute the organisation's People & Culture strategy aligned to business objectives.
- Lead and mentor the People & Culture team while building capability across the organisation.
- Provide strategic advice to the Executive Leadership Team on workforce planning, organisational design, leadership and culture.
- Drive organisational change, transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop workforce strategies that support business growth,



contract mobilisation and operational performance.
- Lead recruitment and talent acquisition strategies for executive, leadership and critical operational roles.
- Strengthen employee engagement, retention, succession planning and leadership development.
- Champion diversity, inclusion and employee wellbeing initiatives.
- Lead employee and industrial relations, including Enterprise Bargaining negotiations, dispute resolution and union engagement.
- Ensure compliance with the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements and employment legislation.
- Partner with operational leaders to strengthen workplace health, safety and psychosocial risk management.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus and high performance across frontline and corporate teams.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Employment Relations, Organisational Psychology, Law or a related discipline.
- 10–15 years' experience in senior People & Culture leadership roles within large, operationally focused organisations.
- Demonstrated success developing and implementing strategic people initiatives that improve business performance.
- Extensive knowledge of Australian employment legislation, industrial relations and Fair Work requirements.




- Proven experience leading organisational change and transformation.
- Experience leading Enterprise Bargaining Agreement negotiations and managing complex industrial relations matters.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance operational outcomes with people-focused solutions.
- Outstanding leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience leading geographically dispersed workforces.
- Postgraduate qualifications, AHRI certification or experience within facility management, security, cleaning, infrastructure, construction or property services will be highly regarded.
