Allied Waste Services P/L is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Skip Truck Driver (HR) - Waste Management to join our team in Wingfield, SA 5013. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and opportunities for career development within our growing organisation.
What you'll be doing
- Safely operating skip trucks to collect and transport waste materials from commercial and residential properties
- Ensuring efficient and timely delivery of waste to designated disposal or recycling facilities
- Performing routine vehicle inspections and maintaining accurate records of operations
- Adhering to all safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Providing exceptional customer service to clients
- Assisting with other waste management duties as required
What we're looking for
- A current Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating skip trucks or other heavy vehicles
- Strong knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
