About the Role

At Inflatable Fun Park, we do more than operate attractions — we create experiences that families remember.

Since launching in 2019, we have delivered high-energy, family-friendly attractions across seasonal water parks, Christmas, Easter, Halloween and dinosaur-themed events. Working from Soccer5s in Dandenong South, and in collaboration with Aussie Sports Activations, we are now building a year-round activation hub combining junior sports programs, outdoor play, family entertainment and large-scale attractions.

We are looking for a confident, positive and hands-on team leader to help manage a small team of casual staff while actively working alongside them.

This is not a role for someone who wants to stand back and simply supervise. You will be expected to lead from the front, assist with physical tasks, manage priorities, support the team and help ensure each event or activation runs safely and efficiently.

For the right person, this role offers a genuine pathway into an Operations Manager position as the business continues to grow.

The Opportunity

As our Sports & Event Operations Team Leader, you will be responsible for helping bring our events, programs and attractions to life.

You will manage and encourage a small casual team, oversee daily operational requirements and remain actively involved in setup, pack down, customer service, equipment movement and event delivery.

The initial position will be contract-based, with the potential to progress into a permanent full-time role.

Our preferred working structure is a four-day week from Thursday to Sunday. However, the events industry is constantly changing, and additional weekday, evening or seasonal shifts may become available depending on demand.

No two events are exactly the same, so flexibility, initiative and a willingness to learn are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include

- Supervising, coordinating and motivating a small team of casual staff
- Leading junior sports sessions, family activities and event activations
- Working alongside the team during setup, operation and pack down
- Helping move, clean, maintain and prepare equipment
- Managing daily priorities and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently
- Creating a fun, welcoming and engaging environment for families and children
- Monitoring safety, presentation and operational standards




- Supporting the training and development of recent team members
- Communicating clear expectations and keeping the team focused
- Solving problems quickly and calmly when plans change
- Providing excellent customer service to guests, clients and venue partners
- Assisting with events and activations at other locations when required

Experience in events, sports, recreation, coaching, attractions, hospitality, tourism or team supervision would be highly regarded, but the right attitude and work ethic are equally important.

You will ideally live within a reasonable travelling distance of Dandenong South. However, you must also understand that our services and events operate across different locations, and travel will form part of the role. What Makes This Role Different

Every day will be different. Some days will involve leading activities and engaging with families. Other days may involve setting up equipment, preparing a venue, cleaning attractions, training staff or solving operational challenges.

Availability Requirements

Applicants must have

- Regular Saturday and Sunday availability
- Availability for seasonal events and school holiday periods
- The ability to work Thursdays and Fridays where required
- Flexibility to work occasional early mornings, evenings or additional days
- Reliable transport to Dandenong South and other event locations

Employment Pathway This position will initially be offered on a contract basis.
