Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and Duties
- Carry out vehicle servicing and repairs.
- Tyre fitment and wheel balancing.
- Wheel alignments.
- Minor electrical diagnosis and repairs.
- Use diagnostic tools and software and be able to report/repair faults.
- Carry out minor and major brake repairs including overhauling systems.
- Maintain secure work environment and keep up to date with latest laws and regulations.
- Report to office manager with work/notes carried out on vehicles and be able to give feedback.
- Road testing vehicles for faults and reporting back to workshop manager and head mechanic.
- Keeping workshop clean and tidy and daily checks of vehicle hoists and tools.
Skill & Experience
Required Skills
- Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience in Australia
- Communication between other workers and management.
- Solve problems on daily basis.
- Be able to trouble shoot and adapt.
- Get up to date with latest car software.
- Get up to date with latest car diagnostic tools.
