About the Role:

We’re looking for a practical and proactive Maintenance Officer to ensure our care community you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and appearance of buildings, equipment, and grounds. The role involves performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to create a safe, comfortable, and compliant environment for residents, visitors, and team.

What You’ll Do:

- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and minor projects across our care community and gardens.
- Ensure our home meets all safety and compliance standards, including WHS regulations.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests, minimising disruption for our residents.
- Manage maintenance supplies and equipment within budget.
- Work as a key part of our team to create a safe and welcoming environment.

What You’ll Need:

- Experience in a maintenance, handyman, or groundskeeping role (aged care experience a plus).
- A practical, can-do attitude and excellent problem‑solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of WHS practices and a commitment to safety.
- Good communication skills and a friendly, professional manner.
- Reliability and a solid work ethic.
- A trade qualification or ‘Test and Tag’ certification is highly regarded.
- Willingness to complete:
- Pre‑employment medical
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
