- $45-55 per hour + Super

Our client is seeking a safety-focused and reliable Terminal Day Operator to support the safe, efficient and compliant operation of their terminal facility. This role is responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, supporting daily operations, conducting routine inspections and maintaining emergency response readiness.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Plan, approve and oversee maintenance activities, including work planning and isolation procedures, ensuring all permit conditions are adhered to throughout execution.
- Coordinate maintenance crews and contractors in collaboration with the maintenance team to successfully deliver scheduled maintenance programs.
- Assist the Operations team with sampling, testing and day-to-day operational activities.
- Perform routine equipment inspections, preventive maintenance and repair activities.
- Maintain emergency response readiness through training and competent operation of emergency response equipment.

Key Experience and Attributes Required:

- Valuable verbal and written communication skills.
- Permit Authoriser and Authorised Gas Tester




- Training in emergency response and fire equipment
- Computer literacy and ability to use workplace systems effectively
- Current forklift licence
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Ability to respond effectively to changing priorities.
- Collaborative approach and willingness to work closely with team members, contractors and maintenance crews.
- Practical problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
