Responsibilities

- Inspect, service and repair fixed plant equipment and machinery.
- Perform preventive maintenance and safety checks on a regular schedule.
- Troubleshoot faults and minimise downtime through proactive repairs using specialised tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Support recent equipment installations and project upgrades.
- Collaborate across teams and assist other trades when needed.

Qualifications

- Trade certificate – Plant/Fitter.




- Experience with waste assets, compactors or mobile plant essential (Forklift/Compactor).
- Strong fault‑finding and repair skills.
- Reliable, able to work independently and in a team.
- Physically capable.
