Food and Beverage Attendants are primarily responsible for facilitating a great experience for our guests through greeting customers, providing information, menus, taking orders, serving food and drinks, resetting tables for the next service and maintaining cleanliness of the premises to a high standard. This role works across Thredbo’s various restaurants, bars, cafes and hotel outlets. It is a requirement to maintain a general level of knowledge about the resort to be able to provide information to guests as required.
Responsibilities:
- Complete daily operational requirements of the food and beverage outlets as directed, whilst maintaining a high visibility for guests.
- Maintain consistency in product quality, presentation and delivery of all food and beverage offerings.
- Ensure all cash handling and transactions are correctly processed with no discrepancies.
- Assist with ensuring the venues presentation and ambiance meets the required ‘personality’, embracing the theme of the venue’s atmosphere to ensure the best possible experience.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the work area.
- Operate equipment according to the company’s policies and procedures, ensuring it’s safe and correct, limiting breakages and report any maintenance issues.
- Comply with safe food practises and the NSW Liquor Act.
- Communicate operational issues to Supervisors or the Venue Duty Manager in real time.
Experience / Qualifications / Requirements:
- Current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
- Some previous experience and on the job training in hospitality
- Strong communication skills
