Senior Systems Engineer - Contract (Infrastructure Modernisation Consultant)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our high‑performance Professional Services team. The role is customer‑facing and requires exceptional collaboration skills, robust partnership building with customers, and experience in delivering professional services projects.

The position is based in one of our offices across Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, or Perth. We support a mix of onsite and remote work arrangements.

Eligibility – Must be an Australian Citizen and hold an NV1 security clearance.

What You’ll Do
Work closely with customers, partners, sales and technical teams.
Deliver IT infrastructure‑based projects on time, within budget, and to agreed scope.
Serve as the technical point of contact for implementation services and solutions (remote or on‑site).
Provide pre‑sales support and expertise to the sales team.





What You’ll Bring
Experience working with external enterprise customers in professional services environments.
Design, implementation and optimisation of Windows Server, Active Directory and Exchange.
Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMWare, Hyper‑V or AHV.
A curiosity and passion for customers, and proven ability to communicate solutions to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently on competing priorities and as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable
Experience with backup‑and‑recovery solutions such as Commvault or Veeam.
Experience with hyper‑converged technologies such as Nutanix, Dell or Cisco.
