The Role
As Head Vet Nurse, you will take on a leadership role within the clinic, supporting and mentoring our nursing team while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the hospital.
This is a hands‑on role where you will balance leadership responsibilities with clinical nursing duties.
Responsibilities
Lead, train and mentor the nursing team.
Coordinate daily workflow and hospital operations.
Maintain high standards of patient care and customer service.
Assist with rosters and stock control.
Support veterinarians in all aspects of clinical care.
Qualifications
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, with leadership or senior nurse experience highly regarded.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Strong team player with the ability to lead by example.
Passionate about providing gold‑standard care for patients and clients.
