Our client is a leading financial services organisation, known for its performance-driven culture and commitment to integrity, transparency, and compliance. They are based in Sydney, CBD but offer a hybrid and adaptable working culture.

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Consultant to manage the day-to-day delivery of a timely and accurate payroll. The role will cover all aspects of end-to-end processing, reporting, and compliance, while supporting ongoing improvements to systems and processes. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external providers to ensure a smooth and effective payroll function, maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, and provide high-quality service to employees and stakeholders.

Please note this is a 5 month temporary role requiring an immediate start.

THE CRITERIA

To be successful in this role you will have a strong background in Payroll compliance, ideally gained in the financial services industry. You will possess proven knowledge of the Fair Work Act, enterprise agreements, modern awards,



and other relevant industrial instruments. Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems, ideally Workday and ADP, is essential, along with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in high-pressure and rapid-paced environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling them to validate data and resolve complex payroll queries. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, as is the ability to confidently engage with employees and stakeholders.
