Environmental Engineer – Contaminated Land Focus

Sydney | Full time

We are looking to connect with Environmental Engineers and Contaminated Land specialists across all levels to support a strong and growing pipeline of work across Sydney and wider NSW.

This role is heavily focused on land contamination, working across site investigations, remediation, and environmental management on major construction and development projects. You will be part of a team delivering practical, science‑led solutions across complex and often high‑risk sites.

The Role

You will be involved across the full lifecycle of contaminated land projects, from initial assessment through to remediation and validation.

Responsibilities
Phase 1 and Phase 2 contaminated land assessments
Site investigations including soil, groundwater and vapour sampling
Data interpretation and preparation of technical reports
Development and implementation of remediation action plans (RAPs)




Oversight of remediation works and validation reporting
Liaising with regulators, clients, and contractors
Supporting planning approvals and regulatory submissions
Providing practical, risk‑based solutions across active project sites

About You
Degree qualified in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or similar
Experience within contaminated land, site investigation or remediation projects
Understanding of NSW EPA guidelines and contaminated land frameworks
Strong technical reporting and communication skills
Ability to work across both field and office‑based environments
Proactive mindset with a practical approach to problem solving
