Prosperity Painting is a South East Queensland based painting Company, delivering professional painting, protective coatings, and surface care solutions across residential, aged care, government, education, and commercial facilities. As we grow our presence on the Gold Coast, we're looking for an experienced painting supervisor to help us maintain the high standard our clients expect.
About the Role
We're after a semi-retired painting supervisor who wants to stay active in the trade without the demands of full-time work. This is a casual/part time, versatile role suited to someone with deep trade experience who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys mentoring and overseeing others on site.
You'll be the eyes and ears on the ground for Gold Coast projects, working closely with our internal and subcontractor network to ensure every job meets Prosperity's standards before sign-off.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct site visits and quality checks across active Gold Coast projects
Oversee subcontractor painting crews, ensuring work meets specification and Prosperity's quality standards
Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced tradespeople on site
Report back to management on job progress, quality, and any issues arising
Liaise professionally with site contacts and clients as required
Utilise company system to keep jobs updated
About You
Extensive experience in the painting trade, ideally with prior supervisory or leading hand experience
A sharp eye for quality and attention to detail
Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule
Reliable transport and willingness to travel to sites across the Gold Coast
Current QBCC licence (or ability to obtain) an advantage
Semi-retired tradespeople looking for meaningful, flexible part time work are encouraged to apply
