We are seeking qualified Education Support Teachers to work across our K‑12 school in Busselton. The role involves supporting students with a range of disabilities through explicit teaching strategies and effective classroom management, collaborating with primary and secondary staff, and engaging with families, therapists and agencies.
Responsibilities
Plan, programme and assess learning using an integrated curriculum differentiated to meet individual student needs.
Implement the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approach and the Berry Street Education Model.
Manage a team of Education Assistants to create a safe and supportive workplace.
Collaborate in interdisciplinary planning and contribute to school community activities.
Use evidence‑based teaching practices, reflect on and seek continuous improvement of own work.
Qualifications & Experience
Eligible teacher qualification and registration.
Significant experience working with students with disabilities.
Knowledge of PBS and Berry Street Education Model is desirable.
Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.
Flexibility, commitment to professional learning and reflective practice.
