About the Role
As a Junior Commercial Analyst, you will be responsible for leveraging advanced data analytics to support month-end reporting, regulatory obligations, and business insights. Working as part of a team-oriented Finance Performance and Analysis team of four, you will contribute to financial modelling, reporting, and operational processes that enable strategic decision-making.
Your Key Responsibilities
Financial Modelling, Analysis, and Reporting:
Manipulate, analyse,
and synthesise large volumes of data using automation tools such as Power Pivot and Power BI.
Provide direct data, insights, and analytical support to the Senior Commercial Analyst – Retirement Living, Housing, and Property.
Actively lead the village budget process and support quarterly and annual reporting.
Participate in monthly meetings with village and housing managers.
Conduct internal benchmarking of similar projects and external benchmarking where possible.
Assist in the formulation and documentation of financial and operational data governance, data catalogue, and data quality assurance processes.
Operational Processes:
Support the month-end, budgeting, and rolling forecast workstreams.
Ensure the timely completion of regulatory obligations.
