Medacs Healthcare is seeking experienced Community Health Nurses and Remote Area Nurses for contract opportunities within unique Aboriginal Medical Services in the Northern Territory. This is an chance to contribute to community‑centred primary healthcare across some of the state’s most remote, culturally rich, and diverse communities.
We offer 6–12 week locum contracts supporting primary healthcare teams in remote community clinics.
Contract dates available from July through to September, with flexibility to suit your qualified and personal schedule.

About You
Current AHPRA registration
Experience in community health and remote primary healthcare
Acute care and/or emergency response experience
First on‑call capability
Manual driver’s licence
Required Certifications
Immunisation Provider Certificate (updated within 12 months)
Basic Life Support (BLS) (updated within 12 months)
Highly Desirable
Advanced Life Support (ALS)
Postgraduate Certificate in Primary Health
4WD experience/certificate
