About the role
You’ll work in rural and remote theatre settings, where your clinical skills, adaptability, and teamwork will make an immediate impact.
These roles may involve working across perioperative areas, including:
Scrub/Scout
Recovery (PACU)
You’ll support surgical teams in a variety of settings, including:
Regional hospitals
Multipurpose health facilities
Smaller theatres requiring a broad skill set
Flexibility and confidence across multiple theatre areas are highly valued.
What’s On Offer
Competitive agency rates: $67 – $80 per hour
Paid travel & accommodation provided
Versatile contracts: 4 weeks to 3 months, with extension opportunities
Ongoing regional placements to support career progression and visa continuity
What You’ll Need
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Theatre nursing
Experience in at least one of the following:
Scrub/Scout
Recovery (PACU)
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Robust communication and organisation skills
Full Australian working rights
A genuine interest in rural and regional healthcare
