Lead curriculum improvement across two unique school communities as Head of Department (Curriculum) for
Boulia and Dajarra State Schools
in a temporary full-time opportunity from
3 August to 4 December ****, unless otherwise determined

This shared leadership role offers the opportunity to strengthen teaching and learning, build staff capability and support improved student outcomes across two close-knit rural schools.
Working collaboratively with both school communities, you will provide instructional leadership, drive curriculum excellence and contribute to continuous school improvement.

About The Role
As the shared
Head of Department (Curriculum)
, you will lead curriculum development and implementation across Boulia and Dajarra State Schools, driving high-quality teaching and learning that meets the diverse needs of students.
Working collaboratively across both schools,
lead
curriculum planning, pedagogy and assessment, mentor teachers to build capability, and use data to inform planning and improve student outcomes.
Foster
a culture of collaboration, inclusion and innovation,
engage
with local communities, and support student success in small, multi-year level contexts. The shared delivery model will be negotiated on appointment.
About You
You will be an experienced curriculum leader with a strong track record of improving teaching practice and student outcomes. You will bring experience in small school or multi-year level settings, strong data-informed practice, and the ability to build productive relationships with staff, students and local communities. Adaptable and collaborative, you will thrive in a shared leadership role across two school communities.
