TRS Resourcing is partnering with a leading Australian manufacturer of premium aluminium truck bodies, trays, and trailers. Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Aluminium Welder – Trailer & Truck Body Fabrication based in Melbourne Eastern Suburbs.
The Opportunity
Fabricate and MIG weld heavy-duty aluminium truck bodies, trays, and trailers
Build custom and production units from detailed engineering drawings
Work with heavy-gauge aluminium and structural steel components
Assemble structural frames, chassis, and fabricated assemblies
Maintain exceptional quality standards and workshop safety
Join a supportive team with consistent, long-term work and overtime available
What You'll Bring
Trade qualification as a Boilermaker, Fabricator, or Welder
Proven experience MIG welding structural aluminium
Ability to read and interpret engineering and workshop drawings
Experience fabricating heavy-gauge aluminium components
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full Australian working rights
Highly Regarded
Truck body or trailer manufacturing experience
Experience working with fabrication jigs and welding fixtures
Background building custom transport equipment
