We are seeking an experienced
Business Analyst
with a strong
Insurance industry background
to join a growing portfolio of strategic technology and business transformation initiatives. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, delivery teams, and vendors to define, analyse and deliver solutions that drive business value across our insurance platforms and operations.
Responsibilities
Elicit, analyse and document business, functional and non-functional requirements.
Facilitate workshops with business and technology stakeholders to identify problems, opportunities and solution options.
Develop high-quality artefacts including business requirements, user stories, process maps, use cases and impact assessments.
Translate business needs into clear and actionable requirements for delivery teams.
Support solution design, testing, data migration and change activities.
Analyse current-state and future-state business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
Manage stakeholder engagement across business, technology and vendor teams.
Support project governance, planning and delivery activities throughout the SDLC.
Assist with UAT planning, execution and defect management.
Ensure solutions align with business objectives, regulatory requirements and industry best practices.




About You
7+ years' experience as a Business Analyst
within complex business and technology environments.
Strong experience working within the
General Insurance, Broking, Underwriting, Claims or InsurTech sectors
.
Proven ability to gather and document requirements across multiple stakeholder groups.
Experience working in Agile, Hybrid and/or Waterfall delivery environments.
Strong process modelling skills using BPMN, Visio or equivalent tools.
Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria and backlog items.
Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication capabilities.
Desirable Experience
Experience with insurance platforms and Broker and Agency Management Systems
Exposure to API integrations, data migration and digital transformation programs.
Knowledge of insurance regulatory and compliance frameworks.
CBAP, CCBA or equivalent BA certification.
