Position Summary The Recruitment Consultant / Talent Acquisition Consultant is responsible for delivering end-to-end recruitment services on behalf of Multicultural Consulting Services (MCS).
Based in Victoria, the role supports recruitment activities for clients across Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia by sourcing, assessing and placing candidates into permanent, temporary and labour hire opportunities.
The role is responsible for building strong relationships with candidates and employers, maintaining talent pipelines, supporting business development initiatives and contributing to the continued growth of MCS.
Key Responsibilities Recruitment Talent Acquisition Manage end-to-end recruitment processes from vacancy briefing through to placement.
Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking and talent databases.
Screen resumes and conduct telephone, virtual and face-to-face interviews.
Assess candidate suitability against client requirements.
Prepare professional candidate profiles and submission reports.
Coordinate interviews and maintain regular communication with candidates and clients.
Conduct reference checks and assist with employment verification.
Support onboarding activities for successful candidates.
Build talent pools for current and future workforce requirements across multiple industries.
Candidate Management Build and maintain an active candidate database.
Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Provide interview preparation and employment guidance where appropriate.
Ensure candidate records remain accurate, compliant and up to date.
Maintain positive relationships with candidates to encourage future engagement with MCS.
Client Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing employer clients.
Understand client workforce requirements and recruitment priorities.
Deliver high-quality recruitment services that meet or exceed client expectations.
Provide regular recruitment updates to clients throughout the hiring process.
Support workforce planning and talent pipeline development.
Business Development Support Assist in identifying and developing new employer partnerships.
Promote MCS recruitment and workforce solutions services.
Identify new employment opportunities across target industries.
Contribute ideas and initiatives to grow MCS's client base and recruitment activities.
Support the achievement of organisational growth and placement targets.
Administration Compliance Maintain accurate recruitment records using approved recruitment systems and databases.
Prepare recruitment reports and activity updates.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation, privacy requirements and organisational policies.
Maintain confidentiality of client and candidate information.
Complete administrative tasks associated with recruitment activities in a timely manner.
Desirable Experience recruiting within one or more of the following sectors: Healthcare Aged Care Disability Community Services Civil Construction Infrastructure Engineering Government Administration Professional Services Experience in labour hire recruitment.
