We specialize in infrastructure development, drainage solutions, and civil works across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Due to growing demand, we are looking for an experienced Drainer to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis.
As a Drainer at Ardee Civil Pty Ltd, you will play a critical role in installing, maintaining, and repairing drainage systems that support essential infrastructure works.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Interpret site plans, drawings, and specifications to determine drainage system layouts and requirements.
Excavate trenches using hand tools or machinery in preparation for pipe laying.
Install and connect stormwater and sewerage systems, including pipes, culverts, manholes, and pits.
Align and join pipes using cement, adhesives, welding, or other sealing methods.
Backfill trenches and compact soil to appropriate specifications.
Test drainage systems for water tightness and flow efficiency.
Repair or replace damaged pipes or drainage components.




Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely and effectively.
Ensure all work is compliant with relevant building codes, environmental standards, and site safety procedures.
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and site managers.
Qualifications: Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience.
At least 2-3 years' proven experience in drainage installation and civil construction.
Ability to read and interpret technical plans and drainage specifications.
Competency in using excavation and pipe-laying equipment.
Strong understanding of Australian drainage regulations and WHS standards.
Physical fitness and willingness to work in various site conditions.
