About the Role
We are seeking a Product Planning Specialist to join our growing team.
This role is responsible for supporting product planning activities through market research, competitor benchmarking, product analysis, and data-driven insights.
You will contribute to decisions relating to product selection, vehicle specifications, positioning, pricing, and future product strategy.
The ideal candidate will have experience in product planning, market analysis, or business analysis, with advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, strong analytical capability, and excellent attention to detail.
Previous automotive industry experience is highly regarded but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
Support the analysis and evaluation of current and future product lines against key competitors.




Conduct competitor benchmarking across product specifications, features, pricing, positioning, and market performance.
Collect, organise, and analyse product, sales, customer, and market data.
Prepare reports, presentations, and product comparison materials to support product planning decisions.
Provide data-driven insights and recommendations relating to product selection, specifications, pricing, and market positioning.
Support new product planning activities, including market research, product configuration analysis, and competitor reviews.
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and international teams to gather information and coordinate product planning activities.
Monitor market developments, customer trends, competitor launches, and changes in product offerings.
Assist with market forecasting and sales performance analysis.
Maintain accurate product databases, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite.
Provide analytical support for broader product and business planning initiatives.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
2–3 years' experience in an analyst, product planning, or similar analytical role.
Automotive industry experience is desirable but not essential.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate meaningful insights.
Experience in product, market, or commercial analysis.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
A proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven approach.
