Support growing community football umpiring pathways across SAWork closely with leagues, clubs, & officials in this community driven roleInitial 2-year term full time role- encouraging regional SA applicantsOUR VISIONSANFL is seeking a highly organised and community-focused Community Umpire Coordinator to support the delivery of umpiring programs across regional South Australia.This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in growing participation in umpiring, strengthening community football, and supporting the next generation of officials across the state.About The RoleYou will coordinate and support regional umpiring programs, with a focus on administration, participation growth, and stakeholder engagement supported by the Community Umpire & Operations Lead.Key Areas Of Responsibility IncludeManaging and supporting the use of OfficialsHQ across community and regional leaguesDriving recruitment and retention initiatives for umpiresSupporting the growth of women and girls in umpiringDelivering education sessions and assisting umpire development programsBuilding strong relationships with leagues, clubs, schools, and volunteersSupporting safeguarding and compliance requirements, including Working With Children ChecksMore information about the position is available hereAbout YouYou are passionate about community sport and bring experience in administration, program delivery, or working within football environments.

You Will HaveStrong organisational and administrative skillsExperience or understanding of community football or umpiring environmentsThe ability to engage and build relationships with a broad range of stakeholdersConfidence delivering presentations, training, or support sessionsA commitment to inclusion, particularly in supporting women and girls participationCurrent Driver's LicenceWorking With Children CheckWork Requirements And ToolsThe role will require some regional travel with weekend and evening work throughout the football competition periods.
