Experienced Civil Pipe Layer – Water, Sewer & RCPChrisos Civil Constructions is a family-owned and operated civil construction company with over 20 years of experience delivering roadworks, utility and drainage projects throughout Sydney.Due to upcoming projects, we are seeking an experienced Civil Pipe Layer to join our team.The successful applicant must have proven, hands-on experience laying:Water mainsReinforced concrete pipes (RCP)The RoleYou will work as part of an experienced civil construction crew on projects throughout Sydney, including Sydney Water minor and major works, roadworks, utility and drainage projects.Your duties will include:Installing water, sewer and stormwater pipelinesLaying pipes accurately to the required line, level and gradePreparing bedding and assisting with backfilling and compactionInstalling pits, fittings and associated infrastructureReading and interpreting construction drawings and plansWorking safely around excavations,



machinery and existing servicesFollowing site-specific SWMS and safety requirementsWorking effectively with supervisors, plant operators and other crew membersTo be successful, you must have:Proven experience working as a Civil Pipe LayerExperience laying water mains, sewer lines and RCPConstruction White CardCurrent driver licence and reliable transportRelevant licences and Verification of Competency (VOC), where applicableA solid understanding of civil construction and workplace safetyThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamA reliable, punctual and hardworking attitudeExperience in roadworks and on Sydney Water projects will be highly regarded.The remuneration package will be negotiated based on your experience, qualifications and demonstrated capabilities.
