problem solving and making decisions and resolve issues as they ariseTo be successful for this position, you should possessthe following:Relevant qualifications and experience in Fabrication and WeldingCompetent in reading and interpreting complex drawingsHigh level of attention to detail, and quality controlStrong problem-solving acumenAbility to adapt to changeFlexibility with working hoursDuties will include:Interpretation of technical drawingsChecking fabricated items prior to and after weldingFollowing and enforcing procedures in line with our Quality Management SystemFabricating steel components and structures with welding equipment as specified by layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, or verbal instructionsWork includes set-up, laying out work using jigs / fixtures or hand layouts to fabricate parts and/or rework finished productsOperate overhead crane, grinders, plasma, and other hand tools related to the jobCompliant with WH&S; regulations and proceduresPay rates are negotiable depending on experience and expertise.
