Medical Receptionist - ENT Specialist Practice (Full time)
We are a vibrant ENT specialist practice on Sydney's Lower North Shore seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and qualified team.
This role offers long-term stability, autonomy and the opportunity to work with an amazing professional team in a fast-paced, high-quality medical specialist environment.
Flexibility to travel between practice locations is required.
Your Duties
As the first point of contact, you will play a crucial role in managing patient flow and ensuring the clinic runs smoothly.
This is a 100% on-site, full-time position that requires strong multitasking skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care: Welcome patients, manage check-ins and provide a reassuring environment
Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate complex specialist bookings
Phone Management: Handle high-volume inquires from patients, GP's and hospitals efficiently
Billing and Administration: Process payments, handle Medicare/ health fund claims and manage incoming referrals,



quality of life questionnaires and patient registrations
Medical Records: Maintain accurate records, confidential patient files and specialist correspondence
What We Are Looking For
Experienced: previous medical reception or administration experience (specialist or ENT experience is highly regarded but not essential), team oriented and reliable professional
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a warm, empathetic phone manner, confidence
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Medical software ( Genie ) is a strong advantage
Attributes: High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to thrive under pressure
Flexibility: Willing to travel between locations
