CE Group is seeking experienced Commissioning Electricians to join the commissioning phase of a major mine redevelopment project in Central Queensland.
The project includes a recent washplant, tailings processing facility, switchrooms and associated mine-services infrastructure.
Working alongside our commissioning engineers, supervisors, E&I; technicians and project leadership team, you will help safely transition newly installed electrical systems and process equipment from construction completion through to operational handover.What's on offerCompetitive EA rates, penalties and applicable site allowances $***** fulltime or $***** casual + $3.00 site allowance (all hours)Consistent 2:1 roster with strong project hoursFIFO and DIDO opportunitiesProject continuity through to late ****Experienced onsite leadership, engineering and HSEQ supportOngoing opportunities across CE Group's mining, energy, industrial and infrastructure project pipelineKey responsibilitiesComplete pre-commissioning inspections, continuity, insulation-resistance, earth-continuity, point-to-point, loop and functional testingCommission MCCs, switchboards, VSDs, motors, pumps and conveyors, including bump testing, rotation checks and equipment start-upSupport cold and hot commissioning, energisation planning, isolations, LOTO and permit requirementsIdentify, investigate and rectify electrical faults, punch-list items and commissioning defectsReview drawings, schematics, cable schedules, I/O lists and vendor documents, while completing ITRs, test sheets and handover recordsWork closely with engineers, vendors, operators and commissioning personnel while maintaining strict safety,



quality and electrical standardsAbout youCurrent Queensland Electrical Licence or equivalent eligibility to work in QueenslandDemonstrated commissioning experience within mining, minerals processing, industrial or major construction environmentsStrong electrical testing and fault-finding capability across MCCs, switchboards, motors, VSDs and process equipmentAbility to interpret electrical drawings and commissioning documentation, with instrumentation, controls or PLC exposure highly regardedCurrent CPR/LVR and Construction White Card, with Working at Heights, Confined Space and a Coal Board or MMQ Medical preferredStrong understanding of isolations, LOTO and energisation procedures, with the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environmentAbout usCE Group is helping power the infrastructure, industries and communities shaping Australia and the Asia-Pacific.
