Light Vehicle Mechanic | Intermediate | Automotive Workshop
Seeking a skilled Light Vehicle Mechanic or Automotive Technician to efficiently handle vehicle repairs and uphold workshop standards within a well-established automotive service environment.
This is a permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday, based in a regional area of New South Wales.
About the Light Vehicle Mechanic role
Must hold trade qualifications with proven experience in mechanical repairs and servicing of light vehicles.
Salary range: $80,000 $120,000 annually.
Location: regional New South Wales.
Key responsibilities
Oversee daily workshop workflow to ensure quality and timeliness of vehicle services.
Carry out repairs and servicing on light and heavy vehicles as required.
Complete vehicle inspections to meet registration standards with training provided if needed.
Maintain strong client relationships to support ongoing business.
Manage stock by monitoring, ordering, and verifying workshop supplies.
Report any mechanical or operational issues promptly to supervisors.
