Mulherin Precast is a Queensland-based precast concrete manufacturer delivering structural and architectural precast solutions across commercial, residential, industrial and infrastructure projects.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated

to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects including high-rise developments,commercial buildings, structural precast elements, architectural facade panels, stadium seating, stairs,columns, beams and bespoke precast solutions.

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who understands both Tekla modelling and the practical requirements of precast concrete design, manufacturing, transport and installation.

About the Role

Reporting directly to management, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of precast projects from concept through to manufacture.

You will be responsible for producing accurate 3D models, shop drawings, reinforcement schedules and mould fabrication drawings while assisting in maintaining drafting standards and supporting other team members.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain detailed 3D models using Tekla Structures.
- Produce accurate shop drawings for manufacture and installation.
- Detail and model:
- Architectural wall panels
- Structural wall panels
- High-rise facade panels
- Structural columns and beams
- Precast stairs and landings




- Stadium and grandstand seating
- Prepare reinforcement schedules and bar bending
- Coordinate detailing requirements with engineers, architects, builders and project managers.
- Review designs for manufacturability, transport and installation requirements.
- Provide technical support to production and project teams.
- Assist in maintaining drafting standards and workflows.
- Mentor and support junior drafting staff where required.

Skills & Experience

- Demonstrated experience using Tekla Structures.
- Solid understanding of reinforced concrete detailing and reinforcement scheduling.
- Ability to produce accurate shop drawings and fabrication documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Highly Regarded
- Experience with high-rise precast construction projects.
- Experience preparing steel mould fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of Australian Standards relevant to precast concrete construction.
- Experience working within a precast manufacturing environment.
- Auto-CAD experience.
