Overview

Dietitian Nutritionist position with the Queensland Government in New Townsville City, QLD, AU. This is a full-time, on-site role that provides opportunities for career growth within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service. The role delivers nutrition and dietetic services across multiple clinical settings as part of an interprofessional team.

Responsibilities

- Perform detailed clinical assessments, patient education, intervention and/or management within an interprofessional context.
- Provide clinical education and supervise allied health assistants; assist with supervision of undergraduate students as required.
- Participate in quality improvement and research activities under guidance from senior staff.
- Work in a rotational capacity across a range of clinical areas including acute inpatient services (medical, surgical, oncology, cardiac, renal and paediatrics), rehabilitation, outpatient services, community health, aged care, and outreach services to rural facilities; duties to be assigned according to service needs.

Requirements / Qualifications

- Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (as applicable).
- Possession of a class C drivers licence.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.




- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted, including NDIS Worker Screening Checks and Blue Card Checks.
