About the Drug and Alcohol Testing Institute

The Drug and Alcohol Testing Institute (DATI) is Australia's leading provider of drug and alcohol testing training. As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO #31988), we deliver nationally accredited and non-accredited training programs to individuals and organisations across Australia.

About the Role

DATI is seeking an experienced Trainer and Assessor to join our growing team on a casual basis.

This role requires a commitment of a minimum of two days per week, with training predominantly delivered in a live online Zoom classroom environment. Occasional travel throughout Australia will be required to deliver face-to-face training for client-specific groups.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will deliver high-quality training programs both online and face-to-face across Australia. This role is ideally suited to a professional with industry experience in drug and alcohol testing, pathology specimen collection, workplace health, nursing, allied health, or a related field.

In addition to training delivery,



you will contribute to continuous improvement activities, support participant success, and assist in maintaining the high standards for which DATI is known.

Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

Minimum three (3) years' experience delivering Vocational Education and Training

Knowledge of:

Workplace drug and alcohol testing; or

Pathology specimen collection; or

Nursing, allied health, occupational health, or another relevant health-related role

Availability to work a minimum of two (2) days per week

Ability to confidently deliver engaging training in a live online Zoom classroom

Excellent presentation, communication and facilitation skills

Strong organisational and administrative skills

Current unrestricted driver's licence

Ability and willingness to travel nationally

Experience using aXcelerate Learner Management System

Understanding of Australian Standards relating to drug and alcohol testing
