Opportunity: Compliance Officer (Funding Contracts) at Electro Group Training

This full-time role is a fantastic chance to join the dynamic team at Electro Group Training in Pinkenba, QLD. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the RTO to meet its obligations under the Skills Assure Supplier (SAS) Agreement, Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) funding contracts, and the 2025 Standards for Registered Training Organisations, while delivering high-quality compliance, administrative, and customer service support to students, trainers, employers, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the RTO to meet its obligations under the SAS Agreement, CSQ funding contracts, the 2025 Standards for Registered Training Organisations, and associated legislation
- Verify and document student eligibility for funded training, including the collection, checking, and retention of eligibility evidence in line with SAS and CSQ requirements
- Process enrolments, withdrawals, and enrolment variations accurately and within required timeframes, ensuring funding and regulatory requirements are met
- Maintain student records, training plans, and evidence of participation to an audit-ready standard
- Prepare, validate, and cleanse AVETMISS data to support accurate reporting to the Queensland Department of Trade, Employment and Training and CSQ, including funding claims and completion reporting
- Manage student progression and records in the Student Management System,



including accurate data entry and maintenance
- Administer quality indicator surveys, course evaluations, and feedback forms in line with regulatory reporting requirements
- Assist with internal audits, external audits, compliance reporting, and continuous improvement activities, including maintaining registers and supporting evidence
- Respond to telephone, email, and in-person enquiries relating to funding eligibility, courses, enrolments, and student matters
- Provide clear and accurate advice to students and employers regarding programs, funding, pathways, and course requirements
- General RTO administration and records management, including filing, scanning, archiving, and retention in line with contractual and legislative requirements

What We Are Looking For

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, particularly when working with student data, records, and funding evidence
- An understanding of the VET regulatory environment, including the 2025 Standards for Registered Training Organisations (highly regarded)
- Experience working with government funded training programs such as Skills Assure Supplier, User Choice or CSQ funding (highly regarded)
- Experience with AVETMISS data and reporting (highly desirable)
- Working knowledge of JobReady or a similar Student Management System (desirable)
- The ability to read, interpret, and apply contractual, regulatory,



and legislative requirements in day-to-day work
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and resolve issues proactively
- High level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general office software
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and in accordance with privacy obligations
