You will be responsible for supervising a team of skilled tradespersons to ensure the successful completion of remedial works on existing buildings.

Experience in remedial construction work is preferred but not essential.

What you’ll be doing

Coordinate and oversee the work of a team of tradespeople, including carpenters, plasterers, painters, and tilers, to deliver high-quality finishes

Ensure work is completed to the required standards, on time and within budget

Liaise with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and communicate progress

Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project, using your problem-solving skills

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the project

Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to the team to help them develop their skills and capabilities

Promote a safe and productive work environment on site

What we’re looking for

Proven experience as a Site Supervisor/ Finishes Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry

Minimum 5-10 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or Finishes Foreman is required





Excellent knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and building regulations

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate a team

Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address challenges on site

Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance

Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications

Excellent time management and organisational skills

A relevant trade or construction qualification is required
