Part-Time 1 or 2 Day Nanny – Bondi Beach NSW

- Family's preference days: 1 day on Thursday, 2 days on Tuesday & Thursday or Thursday and Friday
- Driving required (family vehicle and residents parking available)
- Nanny immunisations required, including Flu and Whooping Cough

A warm and welcoming family in Bondi Beach is seeking a nurturing, reliable, and calm nanny to support their two young daughters. This is a wonderful opportunity for a nanny who genuinely loves children and wants to become a true part of a close-knit household.

The family is active and community-minded, enjoying beach days, swimming, and local playgrounds together. They are looking for someone warm, dependable, and confident in managing two little ones with kindness and consistency.

The role involves full care of both children, including morning routines, outings to the library, playground and playgroup, and quiet time in the afternoon. One child has a tree nut allergy, so careful attention to food safety is required (antihistamine and EpiPen provided, no history of anaphylaxis).

The family values a kind but firm approach to behaviour management, with explicit boundaries around safety, and does not use punishments or time-outs. They are seeking a nanny who is patient, genuinely caring, and able to build lasting trust with the children.

This family offers a relaxed, loving home where the nanny will be treated as part of the family and with respect.



They have previously worked with long-term nannies for several years and are hoping to find another wonderful long-term match.

Nanny Duties & Responsibilities include:

- Full care of children during working hours, following the family's daily routine
- Supporting morning routines and settling children into the day
- Attending outings and activities (library, playground, playgroup)
- Preparing snacks and meals for the children and light meal prep for the family
- Children's laundry, tidying, and maintaining organised play areas
- Light household duties related to the children (general housekeeping, vacuuming, dusting, tidying shared spaces)
- Occasional application of eczema cream as needed
- Driving children to activities/daycare as required
- Providing a calm, nurturing, and structured environment
- Maintaining open and clear communication with parents

Qualifications:

- Minimum 5+ years professional nanny or childcare experience
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Current Police Check
- Warm, nurturing, and reliable personality
- Ability to remain calm and confident managing two children
- Positive, respectful behaviour guidance approach (no punishments/time-outs)
- Comfortable driving (vehicle provided)
- Swimming ability preferred but not essential
- Ability to build long-term trust and consistency with the family
